David Thompson Highway

Alberta's David Thompson Highway passes through breathtaking mountain scenery between Nordegg and Banff National Park. All 69 hikes start from the highway and range from walks of one or two hours to three-day backpacks. The authors, who spent two summers hiking all the trails, use sidebars and feature boxes to highlight the area's place names, history, geology and flora.
