William Josephus Robinson (1867-1936) was an American author, editor and professor. He was Chief of the Department of Genito-Urinary Diseases and Dermatology, at the Bronx Hospital Dispensary. He was a fellow of several associations such as the New York Academy of Medicine, the American Medical Editors Association, the American Medical Association, the New York State Medical Society, the Internationale Gesellschaft fur Sexualforschung, the American Genetic Association, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Urological Association. He was editor of the American Journal of Urology and Sexology and The Critic and Guide. His works include: Fewer and Better Babies; or, Limitation of Offspring by the Prevention of Conception (1915), A Practical Treatise on the Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment of Sexual Impotence and Other Sexual Disorders of Men and Women (1915), Sexual Problems of Today (1916), Treatment of Gonorrhea in Men and Women (1917), Woman: Her Sex and Love Life (1917), Sex Knowledge for Women and Girls: What Every Woman and Girl Should Know (1917), Sex Knowledge for Men: Including a Program for Sex Education of the Boy (1927) and Sexual Truths Versus Sexual Lies, Misconceptions and Exaggerations (1937).
