The Tin Woodman of Oz
L. Frank Baum
The Tin Woodman of Oz is another enchanting adventure from that magical land - this time featuring everyone's favorite metal man. Before he was turned into tin through the evil machinations of the Wicked Witch of the East, the Tin Woodman was a flesh-and-blood man. He was engaged to be married to the beautiful Munchkin, Nimmie Amee, but instead ended up rusted and frozen in the woods until rescued by Dorothy and taken to the Wizard of Oz. Now the ruler of Winkle Country, the Tin Woodman wonders what has become of his sweetheart. With the help of his old friend the Scarecrow, he sets out to look for Nimmie Amee, hoping to fulfill his promise made all those years ago. With his characteristic mix of sweetness and silliness, L. Frank Baum has created another Oz story that will entertain readers of all ages.
