The story of the military's most elite force, a highly trained group of men serving the Air Force and National Guard with a mandate to fly behind enemy lines during war and rescue downed pilots. They are pararescue jumpers, or PJs for short. During peacetime, PJs take part in civilian rescues, recovering victims from scorching deserts, treacherous mountain tops or raging seas.
